EXPO-2017 Football Cup
Legends of world football took part in the tournament"Expo Cup" -2017, dedicated to the world exhibition EXPO-2017, which takes place in the summer of 2017 in Astana.
The event was organized by NewSport. The tournament was attended by six teams: teams of Russia, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Kazakhstan and the team of Stars. The tournament was held from 5 to 6 August at the Astana Arena.
In addition to the matches at the Expo-2017 Cup, master classes were held and social projects were implemented.
The tournament was attended by such Stars as Alexander Shovkovsky, Hernan Crespo, Hristo Stoichkov (team of Stars), Fernando Meira, Manishe (Portugal team), Alexander Filimonov, Eugene Aldonin, Roman Shirokov, Valery Karpin, Sergey Kiryakov (Russian team), Marco Delvecchio, Angelo Di Livio (Italy team), Guido Buchwald and Tim Borowski (Germany team). The main referee in the final was the Department head of FIFA refereeing Massimo Busacca. At the end of the tournament, all participants also visited the world exhibition EXPO-2017.
